Then come along Swati ,the red star to Chitra the blue one.


From Chitra go downwards, you will see a small rectangle.
It's Tul Rashi, 7th in the order,called as Libra in English.

1/2 Chitra;Spica, full Swati;Arcturus & 
3/4 of Vishakha Nakshatra comes in Tula Rashi; Libra Constellation.

Alpha & Beta stars of Libra when joined form horizontal bar of weighing machine.तराजू.

This is Vishakha Nakshtra, the 16th one.
Vishakha means 2 branches.

The name of 2nd marathi month of Vaishakh, comes from this Nakshtra. 
It is on the East at 8 pm.

The moon is in this Nakshatra on Vaishakh Pournima.

If you observe the space on Vaishakh Purnima,
you will sometimes get to see a beautiful view.

As the moon rises in the east, the two stars of  Vishakha are seen on both sides of the  middle full moon 
and sometimes the very beautiful core of the moon between the two stars of  Vishakha can be seen.


Gamma & Sigma are the pans of weighing scale.




Alpha star is called Zubenelgenubi झुबेन -ए ल -गेनुबी &
Beta is called as Zubeneschamali झु बे न -ए स - शा मा ली .

In arebic Zubana means stings of Scorpio.

Tul Rashi is exactly above Vrishchik Rashi,So these stars are stings of Vrishchik.

 Welcome again to Nakshatra yatra.  The next Nakshatra is Hast,which is 13th in the order, also it's the last Nakshatra of mansoon. In this Nakshatra, the crop is nourished very well. It's shape is like hand,so the name Hast. First see Saptarshi in the North. If you extend the line from last star of Saptarshi on a curved path, you can see 2 bright stars .        The Red one is Swati (Arcturus) & the Blue one is Chitra (Spica). Extend the line further,then you get a pentagon in the shape of a hand, that's Hast. If we put a ball at Saptarshi,it will go on rolling on an imaginary line, till it is caught by Hast. The stars are very bright,so it's called as  necklace in the sky. So these are13th,14th & 15th Nakshatras. The Rashi is Kanya,the 6th one. It's called Virgo in English.  See the beautiful Mrug Nakshatra in South-East corner at 8 p.m. It is a rectangle with 4 stars.At the boundary ,4 feets of Mrug & the arrow piercing through it's belly consisting of 3 stars. You can spot the 3 stars in line easily.  If you extend the line westward ,there's a red star which is Rohini. After a while when your eyes  are adapted for darkness the 'V' shape of Rohini Nakshatra can be seen.  If you extend it further just a bit offside a group of 6 stars  can be seen which is Pleiades (Krittika). After getting Krittika, go for a small equilateral triangle, all stars are faint in this triangle. It's Bharani Nakshatra.  Then go for 2 bright stars which are close to each other, the third star forms an abtuse angle. This is Ashwini Nakshatra.  Ashwini means horse.It looks like Horsehead in inverse direction,so the name.  These are first 4 nakshtras. Ashwini ,Bharani,Krittika, Rohini. Nakshatras (23,24,25)

Bhadrapad Month , the 6th one, started on 4 September 2024, when the Poorva Bhadrapada  Nakshtra rising in the East. Poorva Bhadrapada is part of Pegasus Constellation. It's called as Great horse महाश्व,उचै:श्रवा in Hindu mythology. The Rashi is Kumbh rashi,the 11th one & it consists of 3 Nakshatras,Dhanishthaधनिष्ठा ,the 23rd,Shatatarka शततारका ,the 24th  & Poorva Bhadrapada, पूर्वा भाद्रपदा the 25th .  Kumbha Rashi stands for the zodiac sign Aquarius and is ruled by 2 important planets that is (Saturn and Rahu).  Dhanishtha is Delphinus constellation,it's shape is like Dolphin 🐬 The name Dhanishta means "the wealthiest" or "the most beneficent" Though the name is Shatatarka,these stars are very faint, you can not see them. According to the Hindu mythology,each star is a madicinal plant which gives 1year of life,& the Kumbh made by 100 stars will give100 years of life , so Varun God used to bless Gods with 100 years of life with the help of it....
