Ashwin Month & Mesh Rashi- Aries
Ashwin mas started on 7 october 2021.
Ashwini is the first star that appears in the evening sky.Ashwa means horse.
See the Great Square of Pegasus.
Ashwini's two stars make eqillateral triangle with two points of Pegasus.
In the Indian astrology it is the first of the 27 Nakshatras.
Ashvin also stands for the divine twins, the Ashvins, the gods of vision, Ayurvedic medicine, the glow of sunrise and sunset, and preventing misfortune and sickness in Hindu mythology.
Hindu Myth
Aswinikumar wanted to learn Madhuvidya, only Dadhichi rushi was knowing it.He was Bhakt of Indra,so he taught him the special vidya.
But at the same time he ordered that he shouldn't teach anybody that Vidya, if he does so his head will be cut.
Dadhichi also promised so to Indra, but Aswinikumar were obstinate.
They got an idea. The vidya is in Dadhichi's head,so cut his head & place head of a horse on Dadhichi's body.
That means if Indra cuts head it will be of horse,Dadhichi's head will remain safe.
In that duration the vidya will be learned from him.
All this business, that is cutting original head, replacing the same by horse's head & then again replacing original was to be done by Aswinikumar by doing surgery.
And they succeeded in doing that.
They fulfilled their desire ,learned Madhuvidya by keeping safe head of Dadhichi.
The simple naive person Dadhichi had to go through a horrible suffering because of his love for Ashwinikumar.
So we come to know that surgeons were present at that time also.
Phrixus was the son of a Boeotian king. He had a twin sister, Helle.
The children had a stepmother, Ino, who did not like them and wanted to get rid of them.
She came up with a plan to put the land of the brink of famine by making sure the wheat crops failed.
When a man was sent to consult the Oracle at Delphi, Ino bribed him to lie and say the Oracle asked for the king’s children to be sacrificed if they did not want the people to starve.
Phrixus and Helle were saved by a winged ram with golden wool.
The ram was sent by their real mother, the cloud nymph Nephele.
It took both children and flew east to Colchis.
Only Phrixus survived the journey.
Helle fell off the ram and drowned in the Dardanelles.
The strait was later renamed to Hellespont, or sea of Helle, in her memory.
It is a passage between the Black Sea and the Mediterranean.
Phrixus was welcomed by King Aeëtes of Colchis, to whom he presented the Golden Fleece. In return, the king gave Phrixus his daughter Chalciope’s hand.
Hamal is the brightest star in the constellation Aries and the 48th brightest star in the night sky.
The name Hamal means lamb and derives from the Arabic phrase rās al-ħamal, meaning “head of the ram.”
Isn't it interesting?
So this is the last story of month.
I started from Kartik last year.
Next we will see some interesting stories of the constellations which are not on ecliptical plane.
Splendid😊😊👍👍👌👌
